Who are the victims in the storm?
Why do they only show mostly black people?
Is that all that’s there, are they the only victims,
It hurts my heart deep inside to know,
That my people are in such a mess,
And I am not just talking about the black,
I am talking about all that were affected by the storm,
No matter what color are where they lived,
Whether they lived in the lowly projects,
Are on the top of a big hill.

I think my biggest question is why haven’t these people,
Come together in prayer,
Why don’t I see big groups on their knees worshiping,
Ask and it shall be given seek and ye shall find,
Knock and the door shall be opened,
A little faith I believe would do wonders for the victims.

Stop worrying about man,
Whether they are moving fast enough are not,
It is all up to our one and only true Father,
I know there has to be some of God’s chosen ones there somewhere,
Don’t get to busy that you don’t send up a prayer,

Today I was in a hardware store,
I heard this male say,” why don’t you just give them all guns,
And let them shoot each other”
Immediately my flesh became angry,
My Father stepped in,
I find that people of his kind are very ignorant,
And are not very considerate of others,
You know there could have just as well been some of his family there,
Whose to say that the same thing that has happened in New Orleans,
Want happen in poor little East Texas,
But you know what,
Some of us don’t think about it,
But we had better take the limits off of God,
He can do what He wants to when He wants to and how He wants to.

I feel that we are truly blessed that it didn’t happen here,
We should still feel some hurt and pain for others,
Why can’t we accept the fact that we are all sisters and brothers?

Those that are in New Orleans stealing and raping,
There is no excuse; I believe that if you would ask for food,
It would surely be given,
As for as raping somebody, you’re taking care of your own,
Foolishness desire and God will see to it,
That you pay for your wrong.

I am sorry that those that are still holding on,
Have to deal with those that are so crazy,
Those that are only worrying about themselves,
Those that are the least worried about others.

The elderly and the babies my heart really goes out,
Please if you don’t like anything else that I say here,
Just pray for the victims, pray that our father restores,
Their life just like He did for Job.
I know that if HE did it for Job he will surely do it for them.

I saw a lady in the store and she was buying fans,
I asked her if they were on sale,
She said no I just don’t know when I will be able to go back,
I said where are your from,
She said a little town out of New Orleans,
I didn’t have much to offer her,
But I gave her what I had,
I asked God to bless it and give her what she needed,

I didn’t pay attention to the color of her skin,
That was my least worry the thing was,
I saw a sister that needed help and I reached out,
That’s what I am talking about.
In all things include love,
And my Father will give us the desires of our hearts,

I just want the people to be saved,
And act well behaved,
Keep your eye on the Father at all times,
Know that He loves you in spite of anything that may happen,
Are anything that you go through.
The victims are going through a rough time right now,
We need to come together as one,
They need to the same,
Don’t let this situation become a train,
Don’t look for blame,
Don’t try and find fault,
Just know that when our Father died on the cross,
Through His innocent blood, all of our sins He bought.
