I am fallen
I am broken
Taken for granted the things
That I have taken
From,
From this life
The strife cuts like a knife
Awake in the fields of
A harvesters dream
Running through rows of
Discarded screams
To find that I am wanting
To find that I am needing
Desire and fire
A hope to aquire
The flesh in the stream
Where nothing else seems
To want like I do
For a real I can see
I can touch
I can do
To be with the one
Who sees me right through
Takes me and breaks me
Removing old bones
Reshape
And rename me
The purpose was faded
Translucent with static
My thoughts were of men
Or of mice
And the win
I found the meaning
Shadowed in black
Hidden in light
Wonderfully shaded
Silk etched in stone
I am lifted
I am sifted
Threshing floor prince
I see them beside me
All taken away
From life
From this life
Removed from the strife
Awake in the fields
Of the harvesters dreams
We run and we stand
Where we find we are found
Refined in the fire
That was ours to aquire
In a real that we see
Through a faith and a plea
Stand next to a sea
Full of awe
Mystery
Filled by dreams
With memories
Of static faded with age
Awake in new lands
Breath pays its wage
We dance stoic dances
Inert with grace
Found ourselves standing
Remembered in place.
