STAND YOUR GROUND


Black clouds all around us
Satan’s moving in,
Although his end is written
He still thinks he can win


With despair he rears his head
He can’t believe Christ’s not dead,
He continues his lies and deceit
He must be crushed beneath our feet


When he attacks stand your ground
Though others may fall all around,
Use the shield of faith you’ve built
When arrows come, he’s made with guilt


He cannot change what he has done
He’s been defeated by the Son,
The flames of hell doth he await
No more he’ll enter Heavens gate


He once stood tall above God’s throne
Now day and night, shutters and groans,
Heavenly anthems he once led
His voice of praise is now dead


So, stand your ground for very soon
Satan will meet his final doom,
Evil vanquished, righteousness wins
Jesus, put an end to all sin!
