(Thy Word)
Can words light our way? Is it really that important to read and know God’s word? YES!!! and YES!!!
A godly woman gave me this thought regarding the Bible "A garden to find Jesus and a mine of jewels to live by" Oh how so very true. Through the writings in the Bible I came to know our Lord Jesus and how very precious the jewels contained in the Bible. Each time I read or re-read a passage, chapter, or book in the Holy Bible I find more love and treasure to praise God for.

Taking time alone to study, pray and listen to the LORD is indeed quality time with our Father. It is a time to bond. I’ve heard insightful sermons and bible studies. I’ve attended uplifting revivals, and been thoroughly engrossed in congregational prayer, praise and worship time. Yet nothing overall has edified or moved me as much as reading the Word of God for myself.

God’s Word to us is very personal and always right on time. It is through study and reading that we learn of God’s will for us. The Holy Spirit will guide, convict and comfort as we need. Our heavenly Father reveals His heart to us through those 66 books of the Bible. Jesus is the best teacher.

As I study more and pray for understanding the LORD has given me more insight. The Word of God is my treasure, enriching my spirit. My path grows brighter with each reading. I no longer stumble through life but walk boldly with His Word to light my path so my feet do not slip. Jesus is drawing me closer and equipping me for life through the Word.

Are you looking for spiritual food? Do you desire to know and love Jesus more? ? Do you need guidance?
(Yes!! Yes!! and Yes!!)

"How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:103-105)
I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great treasure. (Psalm 119:162)
"Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth." (John 17:17)

Wonderful Inspirational Devotional full of God's Wisdom and Encouragement. A Dear Sister who has gone on to be with our Lord said the same quote to me. to "go and find His Precious Words for your Soul in The Holy Bible, are you mining for precious Jewels today?"It is Awesome how God speaks to multitudes of souls and how His Word ministers to the Christians redeemed heart, and reaches out to the lost.
I once heard a quote the Bible stands for " B=Basic I=Instructions B Before L= Leaving E=Earth"!
