It's time to diet and exercise when you come to the conclusion that
if God really wanted you to touch your toes each morning, He
would have put them somewhere around your knees

I'd like to take a poll. How many of you pronounce February
correctly? It would be nice if they official changed the spelling to
exclude the first "r" since no one pronounces it. With my stroke
impeded tongue, I have a terrible time trying to slip in that "r." Our
English language has lots of similar problems

How do you make it through some of the names in the Bible? Do
you say "Kneebuckhadkneezer." Do you assume someone is
highly Biblically literate when they can sail through the tough
names in the Old Testament as they read the S.S. Scripture -- wow,
they must really know their Bible!

If you can call on the names of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit,
does the pronunciation of the other names matter? Many songs
have been written about the name of Jesus, but the important thing
is can you call on Him and name Him as YOUR Savior.

Matt. 12:21 (nlt) says this, "And His name will be the hope of the
world." And Acts 2:25 (nlt) says, "And anyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved." The name of Jesus is the subject
of many songs, but the most important use of Jesus' name is His
signature on your new birth certificate written in His blood. Has
yours been signed?
