Poetry
I Don’t Know
I come to You disheartened,
I come to You depressed,
My heart is disillusioned,
My heart is in distress.
I’m tired of trying to understand,
I’m tired of trying to see,
This fog is thick and dense with pain,
No longer I care to be.
All I offer is His Righteousness,
Paid for by Your Son,
As a covering for my humanness,
Until this journey’s done.
And the Company of The Spirit,
His intercession helping mine,
I depend upon to carry me,
Through these difficult times.
I know not the answers,
I seek from day to day,
I can only claim the Promise.
Your Light will show The Way.
Thank You Lord, for providing for my weaknesses, for not leaving me comfortless and for the precious gift of prayer. In Jesus Precious Name. Amen

I like this poem, though wrought with pain. You've conveyed its meaning with a very nice selection of words to bring forth your point to the reader. Nicely done! Jo
