Holding On With A Prayer

This prayer was written after a vision I had climbing up a mountain only to slip and hang on to the edge for dear life, crying unto God.

"LORD don’t let me fall down from this mountain cliff and hit the bottom of the earth where the evil of all evil's lurks.
Come and rescue me. Give me Your strength, Your power to defeat all the enemies cohorts. I need more of Your love, Your fire, I simply need more of you. I want to be with You in paradise eternally. Let me stand with You by Your side at Your throne in the kingdom of Heaven. My heart craves for you and You only. My soul, my spirit will only awaken for You and no-one else. Please, don’t let me lose my grip on life. Don’t let me give up and stop believing in You and Your love… Save me ...Protect me…Be with me…"

With my eyes closed and tears of fear that are falling down my face, I repeat these prayer sentences out loud over and over again.

"LORD, I’m hoping You’ll hear my cries and come rescue me from all danger. I’m waiting, I’m holding on, I’m praying, and crying for you my King, my Confidante, my Hero, the Lover of my soul. I don’t know how long I will hold on but I’m not giving up on Your saving love…because I am a fighter and I know You love me and You will come to save me. Don't let me fall into the evil one's hands, in Your name I pray!!"
