Such a tragic fall in your life,
My son, God gave you through my wife..
Anger, despair,
Such emptiness in stare...
Hollowness in heart,
A belonging - not knowing where...
Consideration of others,
A selfish side came to life...
I’ve too lived that hell,
Such a troubled walk in strife..
Only you can change you,
Find peace in which you know...
Life live to its fullest,
Receive God’s blessing in bestow..
My love’s forever yours,
No matter the choice you show..
My heart’s forever yours,
God’s gift – My son we named Joe..
Expressions of hate, you uttered,
To me, your mother- my wife..
Could always be remembered,
I choose forgiveness, new meaning in life..
I pray your heart feels this message,
For some things I never say quite right,
I'm still proud, my son -
God gave you through my wife..
