I often like to go back in my mind , and travel over the past years. I think about the way God has blessed me in so many ways through my life, even the smallest of blessings seemed so great to me because they made such a difference in my life.

There is one particular blessing that sticks out clearer than the others. It was a time when I was just a young mother, I was washing the dishes late one night. I was standing there washing those same old pots and pans, just as I had maybe a thousand times before. They were so worn out, some were missing handels, some had dents in them. I remember just saying quietly to the Lord, it would be nice to have some new pots and pans. Maybe I meant it , or was I just wishing?


During this time, I had a friend who was wealthy. She had no clue that I needed new pots and pans. That same night around ten o'clock pm, my friend Barbra came driving up. I was surprised to see her at such a late hour. I wondered , if something was wrong. I asked my friend Barbra, What are you doing here at this time of night? Is there something wrong?
She was smiling as she began to pull this box out of her car. Then she said, "I was cleaning the kitchen , and the Lord told me that you needed these , bring them to you now."I looked into the box, and was so surprised. Barbra had brought me her used pots and pans. The pots and pans looked like new ones to me,they did not look used at all.

That moment made such a tremendous impact on my life, God had used some old worn out pots and pans to demonstrate his love for me. From that night till now, I have never doubted God's love . I know that he truly cares , even about our smallest needs.I learned a valuable lesson from this , we should take the time to appreciate the smallest of things that God sends our way, because it is in the small things that we will find the greatest blessings.
