A Memory

I have been thinking again today of childhood memories,this one came to mind.
I remember being a very small child,having been taught many things about Jesus.The most that I could understand was that Jesus lived in heaven and he loved me.
One day while I was out playing, I found this heart shaped locket. It was small and made of gold with white enamal and roses carved on the front of it. Instantly,I wanted to give this heart locket to Jesus. I thought for awhile with my child imagination,I came up with an idea.
With a child's understanding, I knew that people who died were buried in the ground and this was how they got to Jesus. Well I thought this would work for the locket too. So I buried the locket in the ground and I told Jesus, I am sending you a present,I hope you like it.
The next day, I went back to where I had buried the heart shaped locket,and removed the dirt. No locket was there. In my child's mind , I felt at ease knowing that Jesus got his present.I guess one day, I will know for sure. Blessings!Chandra
