Was a night so crystal clear,
The night my Savior appeared.
Were no fancy little blankets,
Or expensive little trinkets.

He was born in a manger,
To a virgin so young.
What a blessing to be,
Our King to become.

Without all the fancy,
He had not much.
Such humble beginnings,
For the One who loves us much.

To think, this little babe,
Will provide the only way.
The way to our Father,
And His Kingdom.

He gave up all He had,
To give us joy.
His presence on earth,
Out of pure love.

My Savior, the little babe,
Born on that night so long ago.
Came from heaven to earth,
Providing The Way.

John 14:6(NIV) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."
