You are worthy, Lord, of my extol,
For You alone have lifted me up;
For more than saving my precious soul,
Your table of grace is where I’m to sup
You have brought my soul from death,
And healed my pathetic life;
You have breathed in me the Spirit’s breath,
With wisdom from You against all strife.

Sing God’s praise, you saints of His,
With each thought of His name, give glory;
For His love, we’ll not see the abyss,
As by His blood, and our testimony.
Weeping will endure for one single night,
But His joy comes in the morning;
His promises are our strength of might,
When life rages with each storming.

Those who know the greatest light,
Have lived the greatest darkness;
They have seen that He’s their might,
And have gloried in Satan’s duress.
We’ve cried to You, for You are God;
And made our supplication;
Then without shame, we make our laud,
For You have shown salvation!

O, Light of light, our grand Sire,
Your Person pierces the dark;
You walk to us on holy fire,
Your ways become our testament’s mark.
You’ve exchanged our sackcloth,
For robes of righteous gladness;
From our throats, Your praise is wrought,
Relieved from the eternal sadness.




Inspired much by Psalm 30. Praise to the one true God is timeless, and as such, applicable to any age.
