As Believers, we can find our rest in the Secret Place of the Most High. He is our Comfort and our Peace, the Restorer of our souls. “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil. He shall preserve you in your inner most being. The Lord shall preserve your soul coming in and going out from this time forth, and evermore” (Ps 121:7-8). “He who dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Ps 91:1). That secret place is real and refreshing. It is found in the shadow of His wings. The warmth and peace found there is like nothing that the world has to offer. “You will keep him in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts on You” (Is 26:3). His Spirit is our Preserver and Comforter which abides with us without end. “Trust in the Lord forever for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength” (Is 26:3-4). Our Beloved Father will preserve us and keep us now and forever. To preserve is to maintain, keep, guard, secure, save, protect and uphold. As a Father, He does all of this and so much more for His children. In the Secret Place of the Most High, He keeps us safe, at rest, at peace, set apart, intact and unimpaired. “My soul thirsts for God, for the Living God. Where can I go and meet with God? Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me” (Ps 42:2, 7).
