Soaking in the thoughts of a long day
Runny noses and dribbles of sweat
From that long run I had in May
And I wandered from you and the way we met

So I tried to escape and turn away
I tried to shut off the light

But unable to do so with all my might

I was meant to quench the lamp
And to live in the truth
Falling into your arms, I encamp
