A fire in my heart
Calming the rough waters
Painted out layer by layer
For all to see
But behind the paint
You come out
Revealing, pealing, twisting
Your peace like the still waters
Canopied in blue
Like a jazz song
Notes strung along
And voices pulled in and out
Hard to understand
Difficult to follow
But you pull through
Wandering restless storms
Finding
The peace of my heart
