Some of you ladies need to put this on your T Shirts -- TGIF This
Grandma Is Fantastic!

Two of the nicest words to hear are "In conclusion." Unfortu-
nately, the speaker who uses these words is often getting his
second wind and the conclusion may be a distant dream.

Paul often put an "in conclusion" benediction to his writings, but
he didn't drag them out. The one that ends Romans is short and
succinct -- "To God, who alone is wise, be the glory forever
through Jesus Christ. Amen." In most other books he simply says
something like "May the grace of God be with you." That's about
as nice a thing as we can say to each other as we part.

We are very grateful for our pastor. He is always well prepared
with a good outline, he sticks to that outline, and he never erases
the heart of his message with a lengthy "in conclusion." You go
home remembering the importance of what was said. Now isn't
that the way it should be?

As Paul ends his writings -- "May the Grace of God be with you"
today. For God's grace to cover us like an umbrella is an
inexpressible bonus on the plus side of being a follower of Jesus
Christ.
