JESUS THE WAYSHOWER

Some churches think of Jesus as the wayshower.
What is a wayshower? The description of the word wayshower in Webster’s is, well it isn’t in Webster’s.
The word way: a passage, route, way of getting to
The word: shower: to present to view, to point out, to exhibit.
Putting the two words together you get, to present to view a route, to point out a way.
To me a wayshower is some one who shows the way, a teacher.
Leading by showing where you (Jesus) have been. Jesus the wayshower is a leader, showing the way to the Father.
The word Wayshower implies knowledge of the way. The Gospel of John in chapter fourteen has Jesus speaking of himself as the way, truth and life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me. Meaning he knows the way to the Father. We believe this to be true therefore we believe that Jesus is the wayshower to God. He has to know the way before he can show others. Some may think because we believe Jesus is our wayshower that we are not a religion but a cult. Does believing what Jesus said make us different? I think not, maybe just closer to the Truth.
