Now I took a soul vacation with the Lord
and no one else, was included
For they could mess up what he had for me
so all of them, was deluded

I began to tell my soul, don't weep no more
and just wake up with a smile
God has already put things in your path
that's full of cheers for each mile

Yesterday may have been a little bit rough
and maybe, the day before
But on this day it's now sunny and bright
after God knocked on my door

Now God knows every knee that does bow
and says my sheep know my voice
And promise to lead me to, the right place
but, he still gave me the choice

The Lord God has a way that's mighty sweet
and I find no faults in him
So come rain or shine, he can still be mine
even when it's dark and dim

So though hills and mountains may crumble
and the rivers may run deep
But, I have a Savior that knows my steps
and my soul, he will keep

Whenever I'm about at my ropes end
he comes by and picks me up
And that's just how much he cares for me
when he takes time to fill my cup

I make my boast in the Lord, O' ship of Zion
you are anchored, so don't fear the deep
So just know O' waters you are wasting your time
for my God he doesn't ever sleep

Now send all the troubles that you can send
and do let your great winds blow
I have perfect peace, while on this journey
and in my heart, this I know

So again, O' ship of Zion don't weep no more
hide every compaint,and then wait on God
He is on his way, to give you more strength
for he is on your side

Though they did see and know Job's troubles
but they did not see his end
And he did wait, until his change did come
knowing God had it, the power to send

Did you not know you and I are in a process
and it is important, to see it through
And we can't even say how long it will take
but do know this, that God is true
