Cry out O' soul, cry out to God
so to hide you in the secret place
To ask of his help to sustain you
in whatever you have to face

Open your heart like a book of pages
let him seach all the way through
So he can mend what has been broken
a specialist that knows what to do

Cry loud O' soul tell him all your troubles
even share you most inner thoughts
For he told us to bring all our burdens
and even the little hidden faults

Some things will get the best of us
it may at times weigh us down
That can bring all kinds of doubts within
causing one to lose that ground

God heard your out-cry O' weeping soul
he had his ears, all tunned in
And was waiting there with arms wide open
to give more peace within

So O' feet run swiftly to our God
and to seek his face in prayer
Lay everything before him, O' weeping soul
and he will surly meet us there
