We're living in one of the most dangerous times in America. Things haven't been the same since 9/11 and we're facing outside enemies who wish to harm us. That's why it's not the time to belittle the president or the troops. When we protest against him, we're only adding fuel to the already raging fire. We must support our troops because God established them for the purpose of keeping our nation safe. Sure no one likes war and for good reason. Lives are lost, families are separated and there's a chance for retaliation by the enemy. But when our nation is in danger, we must put our biases aside and support the president and the military because God has given them the wisdom in this matter.


Protests do not solve anything, they only divide our nation. They infuriate those who are patriotic or who have served in the military. Remember what happened during the Vietnam War? During student protests, lives were lost and there was a great generation gap that divided Americans. There was destruction of buildings and riots everywhere. If we expect to avoid this scenario, then we would be wise to support the war effort.

We should also pray for the president and the troops' safety. We can also pray for the salvation of unsaved troops. By doing these things we're truly acting like American citizens.
