Now I don't know where it will take me
but, I'm willing to take the trip
Staying packed up and always ready to go
so all aboard, I say, O' life ship

When something took hold of me one day
it came to me and right on time
And it did land in front of my hearts door
after it had entered in my mind

Now it wasn't that it was something new
I have said it many times before
But this time it had some deeper meanings
and it did help and that's for sure

I said no more sour grapes will my mouth spue
only sweet peaches will my heart eat
I'll keep picking from, the true vine of life
Jesus, the one who is always sweet

One's life experience is truly a best teacher
you learn, something new, each day
So whatever the reason, my mind was jarred
I can be thankful it came my way

Nothing's wrong in going back now and then
to touch up or revive some things
So your vision can deepen just a bit more
to let you see what words can bring

The cruise ship of life can be a test ride
but we can be in charge of what our day
The choice is given in how far you want to go
for it relies on the words we say
