It's me O' Lord standing here again
to ask your imput and sound advice
For you have the answers that I do seek
and it won't be bad, but nice

Lord you see I have questions and not a few
that do surface from time to time
And your the best consultant that I know
that can satisfy ones mind

Now I could go to others with my request
but it may not be the ones I need
And though it may sound good to my ears
but yours is much better to heed

Because, every moment you give is precious
can't afford to go the wrong way
This soul of mine has been bought with a price
and does rely on what you say

So I will take it one day at a time
let you lead each step I take
I will rest in you, to see me through
and thank you, for mercy sake

This is what a child heart will really do
I'd trust in you all the way
In knowing you have my interest in heart
and will take care of me every day

Lord, I have sought for the right directions
so to be blessed going out and coming in
And in knowing all this my days will go well
from the start, even to the end
