Our Lord Jesus Christ has brought Forgiveness into the world. He wants us to accept this Forgiveness and them move on with Him to an abundant Life.

The problem is that we do not go and sin no more.....................................

John 5:12Then they asked him, "Who is the Man who said to you, "Take up your bed and walk'?" 13But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you."
John 8:10When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" 11She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." 12Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

.................................so we never move beyond forgiveness and we remain at the cross where He died for us and we do not move onto the resurrected life, the life of being renewed and born again.

We remain with the dead. We continue to walk in darkness.

Matthew 8:21Then another of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." 22But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead."
Luke 9:59Then He said to another, "Follow Me." But he said, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." 60Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."

How do we move away from our sinful nature? We struggle and we sin again or we just can’t let go of our sins or the sins against us, so we start feeling even more guilty, because once we recognize this Truth of God’s Grace and Forgiveness, we can’t understand why we still are sinning or not forgiving or not forgetting.

That is why we must move beyond the cross and receive our Lord and Savior’s next sacrifice to us. He gave us what was given to Him and only to Him. He shared with us His inheritance. He was given the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ. Because of His coming into this world, dying for us, being resurrected and them returning to the Father, the Father was willing to send us the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 3:23And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 25But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Acts 2:32This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
John 16:7Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

Accepting Christ’s gift of the Holy Spirit is how we move beyond Forgiveness and into His Holiness.

Without the gift of the Holy Spirit, we cannot be made new and go and sin no more. It just isn’t possible. It is called walking with God. Christ did not come into the world to save the righteous (those who already knew and Loved Jesus Christ and had accepted His gift of Forgiveness and were walking with the Spirit of God). He came to save those that are lost to their sins and cannot see the reason to get out or the way to get out.

And yes there are those that knew Christ Jesus before He came into this world as a man. They knew of His plan of salvation and wrote about Him in the old testament.

John 5 :44How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you--Moses, in whom you trust. 46For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?"
John 1 :45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

So accept the Lamb of God’s sacrifice of Blood and Water.

Repent your sins, let them be cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb and let your sins be remembered no more.

Then ask for the Lamb’s Water (the gift of the Holy Spirit) and He will teach you how to go and sin no more, how to forgive those that sin against you and how to forget the sins of the past. He will show you how to be cleansed and made new.

Live these Truths and share these Truths with others! Share the Good News! We have the help we need just for the asking, and it is not supposed to be kept a secret. If we ask our Lord Jesus Christ, He will heal all things in our lives.

And from my point of view there is a lot of healing that needs to be done in this world, and that includes things in my life also!

Zechariah:9"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. 10I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be "from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.'11"As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.
John 19 :33But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
1 John 5:6This is He who came by water and blood– Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness on earth:the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
Jeremiah 213"For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns--broken cisterns that can hold no water.
Jeremiah 1713O LORD, the hope of Israel,
All who forsake You shall be ashamed.
"Those who depart from Me
Shall be written in the earth,
Because they have forsaken the LORD,
The fountain of living waters
John 4:10Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, "Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.".............13Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 7 :37On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." 39But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
1 Peter 1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
