If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another opportunity.

R-U-OK? I mean, really -- are you OK? I know some of you are dealing with very difficult health problems, but I mean inside of your heart, soul, head or whatever you understand your inner self to be -- are you OK?

I've known people who were healthy as an Amish Horse, but inside they were all torn up. Conversely, I've known people whose bodies have really let them down, but inside they were glowing like a Fourth of July rocket. What's the difference? Attitude, but the attitude depends on their relationship with Jesus Christ.

My mother died a very painful death at only 50 from an enlarged heart. But in spite of it, she had an inner peace that I pray I can have should something as difficult befall me. She and her Lord had a good thing going, and I hope the same can be said of us.

John 14:27 (nlt) is a wonderful statement from our Lord -- “I am leaving you with a gift -- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like
the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.”

If there is something going on in your life that would profit from a positive attitude adjustment, memorize John 14:27. Real peace is O so, well, peaceful!
