What good is my voice
If I cannot speak of You?
What use are my ears,
If I refrain from listening to Your commands?
What good are my feet if they will not go
Where You want them to go?
What good are my eyes if they remain
Blind to Your truth?
Father, what good is my heart and mind
When it is not in tune with Your will?
How selfish I am!
Yet, You lavish Your goodness
And love on me!
Ashamed and humbled I come to you
Repenting of my selfish attitude
Asking that You will forgive this child.
Take my life! All of it, Lord!
Use it for Your glory.
Then and only then, will I be able to experience
The fullness of life
That You have been waiting to give
ME!
