It's mystery how man grows old and dies
When his body was made for eternal life
Every seven years his body renews itself
Yet grows old and frail unto his death
There's no remedy for the fate that be
Except in the truth---that is---if you believe
Scientists can't explain the woes of old age
The whitening of the hair, the wrinkles in the face
How can this be, this trend, mortality
When God designed man to live eternally
Now comes the truth, the reason for this earth
The purpose for mankind from the onset of birth
Created to thrive and follow Jehovah's lead
To replenish the earth by his perfect seed
Through warned of the fall that if he didn't obey
Man chose to rule himself and die anyway
So that's why we live then turn to dust again
For God had proclaimed, "That's the wages of sin"
