Satan told Eve that God was just a lie
That she could eat the fruit and still not die
Even today, we believe what he said
That when we die, we really are not dead
That we are a spirit, a part of God
That when we die we ascend beyond the stars
Most believe that our body is just a shell
In which our spirit or immortal soul dwells
But how do you know? Have you been there and back?
To know for sure it's a matter of fact
The bible tells us what happens at death
Our heart stops and is followed by our breath
Our thoughts parish, and then we are no more
Just a dead corpse, no longer a living soul
The bible tells us we die just like a beast
That when we die, like them, we are deceased
So read Ecclesiastes three and nineteen
Then tell someone, "yes", you know what I mean
