“From The Image of Adam In Satan To The Image Of Christ In God”

First Corinthians 15:22 says: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Genesis 1:26: And God said let us make man in our image after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The image of God is spirit. When God said let us make man in our image he meant his spiritual image. God gave man a physical vessel called the flesh since man was to operate in a physical planet. God gave man divine authority over the earth. We were the kings of the world and had everything subject to us.

When Adam and Eve sinned against God by eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they gave divine authority over to satan. That sin committed against God brought the curse of sin, sickness and death to the earth. Now satan has spiritual authority over the world due to sin. Every soul born into the world is born under the curse of sin, sickness and death and satan is their father. Now if satan is their father then man is of the image of Adam, the son of satan.

The image of Adam is spirit unto sin, and death. The image of Christ is spirit unto righteousness and life. From the beginning of time until Christ came into the world, man possessed the image of Adam. His spirit was obedient to satan but dead to God.

Part of the plan of God was for Christ to come into the world and redeem man back to him. Christ preached the kingdom of God, made man aware of their sins performed miracles and promised eternal life to all who believed that he was the Son of God, the Christ, who would take away their sins.

In order for man to move from the image of Adam to the image of Christ he would have to born again of the water and the Spirit (St. John 3:5). It is necessary for man to put on the image of Christ righteousness and life, because sin and death are not allowed in the Kingdom of God. God wants to redeem man and get back to the original plan that is, to walk with him but now through Jesus Christ and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowls of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Those of us who are in Christ are no longer of the image of Adam that is sin and death. We are of the image of Christ that is, righteousness and life the sons of God.

Unfortunately, much of the world remains in ignorant of who their God is. They believe that they are serving the true living God that is, Jesus Christ but in reality, they are serving the devil. We must warn unbelievers to help prevent them from being taken captive by demons who would conform them to the image of Adam but, by the Holy Spirit transform them to the image of Christ. Amen.
