I think computers were designed to keep us humble -- and
frustrated. I did better when my only computer had 9 numbers and
a zero, except I couldn't send emails to nice folk like you.

Don't you just hate it when you are on the computer and things go
wrong? Yesterday I was doing an arrangement on the computer for
our handchime choir. Just as I made the last correction, the
program crashed and I lost the entire thing -- a whole morning's
work lost. The only cursing I did was to say, "O Lord, why me?"
You've never said that, have you?

Why would I say, "O Lord, why me?" Just a reflex. I know better
than to blame it on the Lord. He has more important things to do.
Things like this just happen, and we have to learn to accept that.

There are Christians who live in constant fear, and any little things
that happen, they cringe and wonder what God is trying to tell them
or why He is punishing them. Neither you nor I are are puppets on
a string that react to every muscle movement of God. Certainly we
need to be sensitive to God's prompting through His Holy Spirit,
but there is no excuse for being paranoid. Do you think God's plan
for you is that you should live your life in a constant state of guilt
and fear? What joy is there in that? Our God isn't a bully!

Most of our problems are caused by our own actions or inaction.
If you watch Judge Judy, you learn that no one ever accepts blame
-- it's always someone elses fault, and unfortunately some
Christians want to blame God. How foolish!

1 Peter 5:7 (nlt), "Give all your worries and cares to God, for He
cares about what happens to you." Notice he did not say, "what He
causes to happen to you." No, He said, "what happens to you."
Things do just happen, so don't be looking for something sinister
behind every tree. Learn to enjoy God!
