Now people can have those fancy furs
that will only flow for awhile
But, precious Lord, give me my diamonds
I ask with a heart like a child

For you said that we are your children
rather we, be young or old
And to the rich or poor, lame or whole
love in our hearts we can hold

Lord let your seeds be planted deep within
let them grow, sparkle and shine
Don't need things that only gathers mote
but your diamonds will do fine

So when the rivers of life seem to over-flow
something down inside, will spring up
Spilling out joy, bursting forth with peace
all of this my soul will sup

For you truly are the seed planter
that will grow in the heart
You makes them to bloom, here and there
and you love in doing your part

What the Lord gives won't lose it's value
it will last out for enternity
So I have need of seeds somewhat like diamonds
all of them I humbly ask of thee
