Everyday, I watch, I listen, I wait….
Hoping one day that we’ll see you
Slowly sauntering up the lane
Or walking through our gate

A Mothers pride, a Mother’s joy
So happy with you…I could burst
Days are long and lonely now
Tears I’ve cried…have made me dry
Now I thirst…….

If only to look into your eyes
And see those mischievous sparks
The way you smiled, your gentle ways
These memories…left their marks

Do you not think of me…nor
Family …from whence you come
Do you understand our love for you
It is so very strong…… my Son

So many days have past us by
Slowly turning into…..Years
Happy, sad, bitter, and mad
Emotions, and so many tears

Our lives, now seem so empty
As a family…were not whole
Our Son and Brother is missing
Daily....is taking it’s terrible toll

We pray for strength from Our God
Also, for peace…where there was none
Asking him, for the quick return
Of our so loved "Prodigal Son!"

My heart went out to you;I think only one who has been there can feel your pain. Your words have been given life to reflect this pain. Do not give up hope...as long as there is life in him God is not finished with him yet. A touching account of the challenge we have when raising children...

This is s refreshing reminder that the troubles we have with our children are dealt with by God and that our "Prodigal Sons" will return. God has them in His hands and will not let the enemy overcome them. When they have learned the lessons God has for them, they will return, with a new found love and respect for Him and for the authority in their lives. Prayer is our only avenue for reward and blessing in these cases. Remain steadfast and pray.

God Bless

Yes, we all have waited at times for the Prodigal son. He's worth it. Your prayers and every effort. It's a war on our children that the devil is playing, but he loves you, he's just alittle lost right now. Always remember God is ever present with him.

So many "Prodigals" out roaming the land, but thank God we have His promises tht our children shall return to their border, they shall return from the land of the enemy, and they shal be delivered! And now we wait...and that's the hard part. Thanks for sharing your heart.
