At any given moment
The Lord could appear
What would you do
If he showed up right here?
Would you kneel at his feet
and begin to pray
Or would you disbelieve
and just walk away
Would you ask for forgiveness
and repent all sins
or just walk by
roll your eyes and grin
Would you run around your house
praising his name
or just talk behind his back
trying to bring him to shame
If he reached out to you
would you give him your hand
Or ignore his wishes
and send your best friend?
Would you go away with him
on this very day
Or just keeping on hoping
That he would just go away
If the Lord came here
How would you act?
Be careful what you do
