I believe I heard
Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata playing
as the rain drizzled down the
tallglass window
with the light tracing
it’s journey
and down


Tummm ta Tummmmmmmmm
Tummm ta Tummmmmmmmm
Tummm ta Tummmmmmmmm
Tuuuuummmmmmm
Tuuuummmmmmmm…

Not knowing who he was.
Satan or Jesus?
My mind held in a grip knot
over this wavering
back and forth.

Then I released it.
Left it up to the One
who could help.
My words could not.

There came the voice
that directed me
to the corner to say
“Jesus wants to tell you something.”
Nothing was too odd now.

So I followed and heard
“Remember that one time
you prayed before you played
a song on the piano?
Think of the main word
and phrase I want to
tell you from it.”

Walking out into
the cool night and
driving into the
thoughts of the past.
There I was recalled the song
“What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Meditating on the song
over and over.
Waiting for an insight.
What is the important word?
What is the message?

It came
The phrase:
We should never be discouraged,
take it to the Lord in Prayer.
and
the word:
“EVERYTHING”
to God in prayer.

That was nine years ago.
No one but God knew
that constant facing'
that constant laying
that thing to God in prayer.

They said he may be
a vegetable the rest of his life.
They said it could take a long time.
But it was six months
(if you call that long)
and he was back.

I think now:
on the word
priveledge
