Author requests article critique

Paranoia

Paranoia the mosquito
was flying around
looking for a place to feast.
Found sweet smelling blood.
Decided that this was the place.

Dipped into secrets.
Dipped into lies.
Dipped into assumptions.
Caused an itching.
Caused a scratch reaction.

Wish someone would’ve
turned on the light
and grabbed that swatter
and killed it.

Instead, the buzz
was heard through
the night and
no one could sleep.
