It is easy to remember God when your down
but have you taken a moment to look around
When life is good with no worries to see
Behold the awesome gifts of the common that be

Smile at a sunny day with the sky so blue
or the sparkling splendor of the morning dew
the green grass and leaves during midday hours
or kaleidoscopic wonder in the rainbow of flowers

Of a pond surface rippling from a gentle breeze
or the fragrance of spring through swaying trees
Stop and enjoy the works of our loving Creator
and give Him praise in His awesome splendor

Say a prayer of thanks for the everyday things
enjoy the fine details that life always brings
The warmth of the sun shining on your face
and all of the wonders of His precious Grace.
