What does one do, if the answers held up
what if it didn't come over night
And when daylight came and still no word
not even one was on it's flight

As the hands on the clock, did turn each hour
you begin to look to see some hope
As you do all you can, to hold on tight
and pray for strength to cope

Not a sound is heard while in your wait
no message, has made it's way
And as the questions rise, and fill your eyes
as you faithfully watch each day

Now it would be nice, if it rings your bell
so you can leap with joy and glee
And if the skies above, will smile upon you
and move the clouds, so you can see

Here is a new one, the e-mail is quiet
and the voice-mail has come to a stop
Even the post-man, didn't bring goods news
seems everything has come to the top

But the trying of your faith is still a good thing
that's if you want to see God's power
So what is best to do, but rest in his peace
until he fufills each hour

Now the question again, what is there to do
well, the only thing to do is wait
And believe in your heart, God will keep his part
and know this, he won't be late

Oh, the humor you can have while walking with God
it is sweet as the honey cone
For we sure do need it on this road
when we're out there all alone
