I stand strongly, safe and sound
Planted firmly on the ground

My nails dig so deeply in
Holding back my hands from sin

Victory I do not know
I want to fly, but wont let go

I can’t reach out-I’ll lose my place
No mercy for the human race

They may judge me, they may mock
Instead I’ll stay under my rock

I’ll let others lead the way
My comfort zone is where I’ll stay

I don’t care if others see
The light God placed inside of me

I’ll store it up and never tell
Then I’ll shine brightly in my shell

My mind is closed; my lips are sealed
Life saving secret not revealed

Who cares if someone’s lost at sea?
They’ll never hitch a ride from me!

My fishing boat; safely at dock
I’m sound asleep beneath my rock
