Everyday Christians around the world are committing suicide. They are sinking within Satan’s sand trap, relinquishing back into their old way of living; resuming sinful habits, basically, accepting sin back into their lives. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior so we may be freed from our sinful ways, having eternal life filled with the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, gentleness, faithfulness, patience, goodness, humility, peace and self-control. {NIV Galatians 5:22}. After we choose a life of salvation with Christ, Satan will come back for his place in our lives. Luke 11:24-26 states, “When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid (dry) places seeking rest and it does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first.”
We must stand firm in our righteousness, not bending or compromising when the enemy knocks at our doors, for when he knocks he is bringing temptations and trash from our past. After you become save, you may notice old lovers re-surfacing, friends God removed from your life calling wanting to go out, sinful co-workers inviting you to their house parties, old unproductive habits that Jesus renewed into excellence sneaking back into your way of living. You best believe he will have all of your weaknesses in his goody bag, screaming let me in because I have something for you. He tried to come back into my life through the temptation of gluttony, lust, anger, procrastination, laziness, selfishness and disobedience of God’s instructions. We must not be naïve and think our battle is over once saved. Frankly, that is precisely when the battle against our treacherous, evil, conniving adversary begins because we are no longer under his control. Once saved, we rest in the loving arms of Jesus Christ. We must always be prepared for battle by never leaving the house without armor. The armor is the daily reading and comprehension of the word; intimate prayer with our God and Savior; heeding to the instructions from the Holy Spirit and rebuking Satan’s temptations with the blood of Jesus Christ and his commands. It is not enough to worship just on Sundays, for the battle for our souls occur daily. Please read the below scriptures written by the disciple Peter, encouraging Christians not to fall for Satan’s deadly traps.


NIV 2Peter 2:17-22
“These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm.
Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful
words and by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they
entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They
promised them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-
for a man is a slave to whatever mastered him. If they have escaped the
corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and
are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their
backs on the sacred command that was passed onto them. Of them the proverbs are true. “A dog returns to his vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

So my fellow Christians, it is imperative that we keep our hearts and minds on the ways of Christ. For once a saint commits suicide; he/she forfeits their rights to the kingdom unless they seek repentance and forgiveness through Christ, our Savior. Sadly Satan is so manipulative that most suicidal Christians do not realize they are spiritually dead. The enemy blinds their eyes, close their ears, and harden their hearts so they will not notice the warning signs. So many are walking around dead thinking they are still spiritually alive but the fruit from their tree is rotten. You must seek God through Jesus for wisdom and discernment. You must be honest with yourself through a examination, looking at areas that may be polluted by the enemy’s sinful tactics. You must admit sin has found its way back into your life. The bible describes sinful nature as (Galatians 5:19-21)
”sexual immortality (fornication, sexual acts), impurity (lust of the flesh), debauchery (porn), idolatry and witchcraft (love of self, worldly possessions, worshipping anything other than God like celebrities, relying on horoscopes and other occults), hatred, discord (starting rumors, gossiping), jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambitions (putting one’s desires before God), dissensions (trying to divide relationships), factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like (indulging in sinful acts for pleasure: drugs, alcohol and sex). I warn you, as I did before that those who live like this, will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
We must protect our Christian rights by any means necessary. We must become soldiers of Christ, never wavering from our righteousness, accepting the promises of Jesus, yielding to God’s purpose and will for our lives.
