I REMEMBER THE BLOOD


CHILD, your enemy condemns you to failure, guilt and shame
my HOLY SPIRIT convicts you and shows you how to change
I expose sin to forgive and cleanse you as you call upon my name
I knew you would get this low- that's what my blood is for
you can be honest with me
I remember the blood

Condemnation and death is not the end of sin
Jesus died for the sin of the world
He saw past the darkness of your outer shell
He saw deep in your own heart the priceless pearl
and he shed his own blood for you
I remember the blood

You've already been forgiven, would you please receive
the penalty long ago paid, just open your heart to believe
when I see you, you are covered by the blood
MY OWN BLOOD shed thru my only Son
Oh yes
I remember the blood

Jesus' blood stops death and begins overflowing life
Jesus' blood changes your nature from all the sin and strife
Jesus' blood causes the HOLY SPIRIT to dwell in you
Jesus' blood presents you fautless before ALMIGHTY created anew
Now sin, sickness, the curse and death have no power over you
I will forever remember the blood

Thank you ABBA FATHER that you chose to remember the blood
