Great and mighty is the Lord of host
O' how precious is his name
In regardless of what, I have to encounter
my joy it will remain

Can I say it on, the mountains of troubles
will I still say it, in the deepest sea
While going through, each test and trial
will my spirit stay joyful and free

When the winds, change their directions
start turning, from left to right
Springing on me, some days of problems
that do circle, even at night

Sometimes the heart begins to question
O' where are you dear God
Are you still here, I really need to know
when will these things subside

You said, let not, my heart be troubled
I must believe that your still there
While in the midst, of the troubled waters
just know that you still care

Lord help me to stay, calm and faithful
not give in, to the fleshly mind
Help me stay, above the troubled waters
for you'll be by, in due time

No test to us is given, without a reason
nor any trial, that has no reward
So help me dear Lord, to ride it through
and to keep my faith aboard

O' soul just say, Hallelujah anyhow
we are going to ride it out
Through the roughest sea, My God and me
now buckle in, and continue to shout
