This road it comes with a lots of dirt
so a few trails will have some pain
But even so, the heart really must know
that there is much to gain

When God has a destiny, for your life and mine
some things, will come with, the territory
So it's impossible for a dreamer, to stay where
their at
they have to see the end to the story

Those that do know, they will follow the flow
and they will not, balk or doubt
But will keep a prayer in their hearts
and allow God, to carry it out

They got to keep moving on, in wherever it goes
and know they are in God's plan
So no rivers, no valley's or desert places
can ever slow or stop God's hands

Now we may not ever see, the road ahead
or even, to know the way
But we have to keep, our faith within
and pray, that we can obey

We're not going to reach, each trail every day
some you have to wait, the next ride
and though this is so, it doesn't stop the show
for we have God on our side

Some things will happen, not to our liking
they won't work, the way we desire
But, that's ok, we have to go anyway
because, we have been inspired

If all the time, it's going well and good
then know we're not in God's plan
So it's good to rely, on the word that's written
and stay in, his unchanging hands

For in the times of trouble, he will hide us
he will help keep our hearts in place
So, it matters not how long the journey takes
we must keep it before his face

Whenever God sends his word to feed us
it was to satisfy our souls
And will help you and I, to endure each test
this is, and was, foretold

God will fulfill the destiny, in the bad or ugly
he will do it, in his time and way
For he does always prove, each of his works
by backing up what he did say

Now just look at things in this simple way
that the troubles, are giving us a ride
So ask God to put his hands, pon our reins
and inside let his word abide

So keep that dream, the destiny of purpose
let it be planted in our hearts
Don't fret of things that don't happen right then
but rejoice and let it not depart

Now whenever you get dis-encouraged
look at that rejection, as another ladder up
For God will finish what he has started
and it will be filled, just like a cup
