Material riches and material goals,
Satisfied only with silver and gold.
Consumed by the thoughts of riches unseen,
Forsaking their peace, while hunting this dream.
Unquenchable thirst, and soul aching need,
Searching for ways, this monster can feed.
It's lust driving want, of material things,
Ending up empty with unfulfilled dreams.

Now I know the ones, who’s traveling this road,
Feel they haven't lost, while searching for gold.
Yet near the end, when traveled to far.
They'll see they were chasing, an unreachable star.
There's much more to life, don't wait till the end,
To see all you saved, another shall spend.
Today smell the flowers; it will end all to soon,
For someday we all know, the flowers won't bloom.
