the positive attitude you never had;
the helping hand you never stretched;
the comfort you never gave;
the smile you never gave;
the forgotten you never sought;
the forgiveness you never meted out;
the quarrel you never mended;
the bitterness you never forgo;
the suspicion you never dismissed;
the promise you never fulfilled;
the responsibility you never accepted;
the humility you never showed;
the good seed you never sowed;
the faith you never had,
will trouble you, not what you did.
For happiness is not so much in having or sharing.
We make a living by what we get but a life by what we give.
It could be good to do things right; it is even better to do
the right things; but to be the right person is the best.
For righteousness is the prelude to true happiness and
fulfillment.
