Lord, help me in my hour of need
It is from Your strength which I feed
It is my weakness that causes me to cower
praying for You to reveal Your power

Without you, I know I am frail and weak
that is when I fall to my knees and seek
You, Bright Morning Star, to carry me through
Only one of many reasons that I love you

Almost two thousand years the Bible does say
You died for sin and rose again the third day
Hallelujah, I praise His Holy name
to save you and me is why He came

One cross, three nails and so much pain
He suffered all this, that we may gain
He was sinless, spotless, and without leaven
Now sitting at the Father's right in Heaven
