Faith

Lord, I know it's up to You if I stay or go,
and I can't wait to share Heaven's bliss.
But how can I leave before I really know,
if these joys, someone I love, might miss?

Lord, You Know how homesick I sometimes get.
My home is just a shadow of memories I hold.
You also know that I can't leave just yet.
I must make sure they are all in Your fold.

My child is living apart from Your plan.
Her child, to be awash alone on life's seas.
What can I do to make her understand,
that it's only You, her life needs to please?

So Lord, You see why I can't go yet.
Some of my loved ones are failing the test.
They must be safe within Heaven's net,
before I can go with You and rest.
