I rush to get out of bed
And begin to start my day
Then You break me and tears start to shed
For You I had forgotten and this I pray

Help me remember
To yearn for You
More than my schedule
May You be the desire, Lord
My food, my comfort
In You there is more

Oh, Lord--my supplier
My dream giver
Your grace is sufficient
Here in this place

Take this day, this time, this stress
These chores, this work, this life
Take it, Lord; take it all
May You be more and may I be less

For this journey is not about me
It's about You and the cross
Getting me out of the way
So that You can have the glory

Refine in me as only You can do
Make me a woman of prayer
Pure in heart, patient, tested
Pulled, tried, and true

Break me, mold me
As a potter to clay
May others see You in me
Oh, Abba--this I humbly pray

May I crave nothing more
May I want nothing
Nothing but You, Abba, Lord
