Prayers
Dear Lord, from deep within my heart I cry out to You from a dry and weary land. I seek Your face above the pain and trouble of the world. You are ever near me, giving me songs in the night. I rely on You for my next breath.
Please, forgive me for ever trying to do things my own way and in my strength. I fall so short in myself, but it is only through Your grace, Your righteousness and Your precious fountain of blood flowing down, that I stand.
I stand complete in You, My Father. Renew my spirit with in me. Let not bitterness and bondage take hold. I chose freedom in You all of those years ago. I choose it again, daily.
Lord, if You marked our transgressions, who would stand? I would only stand because of Jesus. Thank You! In this fallen state, You loved us unconditionally and eternally. You are so Holy. You alone are worthy to receive glory and honor.
Please, fill me overflowing with Your joy and strength. I need Your sustaining strength to make it every hour. I am so thankful that you made me Your child and servant. Let me be like the watchmen crying out before You.
Let it rain. Open Your floodgates. Your rushing spirit and living water is so refreshing, so pure and Ever True.
