IF……

If people were colours, what would mine be?
What colour from the pallet would you choose to paint me?
What is the colour that others would see?

Red for the saviour’s blood to set me free?
Or maybe purple and gold for my king,
Would you paint me black or grey?
Like the sins I have committed each day.
Or would it be a glowing white,
The shades of grey all washed away
With the forgiveness that I seek each day.

Would you choose to paint me shades of blue?
As with the sky you often do?
Would it be the colour green?
Creations colour for my scene
.
What is the colour others would see?
What would my colour be?

I think you’d choose a rainbow for me,
Every colour you could possibly see,
A canvas of colour to reflect your glory,
A living breathing Jesus story.
