How much sleep does the average adult need. Answer: Just five
minutes more.

You can get out of bed and say, "Good morning, Lord" or you can
say, "Good Lord, is it morning?" The difference is attitude. I'll
never know why, but some folks just insist on waking up with the
corners of their mouth pointing down. I do, but that's because of
the stroke damage to my facial muscles, so if you fit the
"down-in-the-mouth" description, what is your excuse?

Some of us have physical afflictions that can cause discourage-
ment with good reason, but the victorious Christian is the one who
can live above the circumstances and say, "Praise the Lord
anyway!" If you still have the physical strength to get to your
computer to read and send email, you have good cause to thank
your Lord every new morning if for no other reason than to say,
"Thank you, Lord. I'm still here and can communicate."

In Exodus 34:2 (nlt), God said to Moses, "Be ready in the morning
to come up to Mt. Sinai and present yourself to me there on the top
of the mountain." Our hearts should be right with God so that we
can greet Him every new morning in a mountain top experience.
Our greeting should be the positive one of "Good morning, Lord."
