When I was born, my parents knew I would be a musician -- I had
ear drums.

What kind of music do you like? If I could talk to your personally,
I would probably get a different answer from each one of you.
Music is a powerful tool to encourage the soul, but like anything
else, it can also be used for evil.

To the Christian, music is a revelation of the perfectness of God.
The mathematical precision of music attests to His finite detail in
everything. Music can carry us to heights of euphoria or calm us
when our spirits are troubled. It covers every aspect of human
emotion.

In the hands of skillful performers, music has a special beauty.
Please thank God for those musicians in your church who devote
their time and energy to honing the embryo of talent God gave
them into a skill. I Chr. 15:22 (nasv) says, "Chenaniah, leader of
the Levites in music, was to direct the music, for he understood it."
So, to all of you Chenaniahs out there, may God give you a special
blessing as your proclaim our Christ through music.
